At Holy Trinity, ministry isn't something that happens twice a week in the sanctuary. Our church is actively involved in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through action in the local and global community.

Email Prayer Team

Our church has a very active e-mail prayer team. Requests for prayers are submitted to the church office and an e-mail with details is sent to members of our team. Each team member then takes time to pray for those in need. Prayer requests can be listed as confidential or you can ask that team member share your request with others for more prayers from the community. See the "prayer" link at the side of this page for our current prayer list.

Annual Flea Market Event

In early fall each year, our church holds a benefit Flea Market outdoors on our lot. With over 40 church and  local vendors, the community looks forward to sharing in this fun filled day. Proceedas from the event benefit the Al Beech West Side Food Pantry and an area of need at HTLC.

Kid's Clothes & More Sale

In early summer, a day dedicated entirely to children is held at Holy Trinity. In early may we start collecting donations of gently used children's clothing and like new used toys. The day of our event features a clothing and toy sale, kid-friendly raffle and more!

Community Vacation Bible School

The first week of August brings excitement to our church and community. Each year the entire church building is transformed to reflect the theme of our Vacation Bible School week. From a sand filled fellowship hall (for a Beach Trek) to a Jersualem Market Place to a Time Machine - you can't help but get excited about the Good News! Our VBS program is always held in the evenings. We have found this is the best time for families to be able to come together! Each night is kicked off and closed by our own VBS band! The singing and dancing get the youth roaring for a night of good Christian fun! HTLC Members are joined by a flock of local children who look forward to being a part of VBS each year. VBS at Holy Trinity is always free. An offering is collected each night to help offset any costs and a weekly offering donated to a special cause is always taken.

Al Beech West Side Food Pantry

As a congregation we collect food items for the local food pantry. Each month we highlight a few items that are used by the pantry on a regular basis. Members from our congregation proudly serve at the Al Beech West Side Food Pantry, filling orders and on the board.

Campbell's Soup Labels & Box Tops for Education

Holy Trinity collects Campbell's Soup labels and Box Tops for Education for the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, AZ. This all goes to help the Reservation School.

New and Used Soap

Used soap?? Yep! We collect used soap bars (and new ones too) to send to Lutheran World Relief. Small slivers of soap can be melted down and made into new bars.

ELCA World Hunger Appeal

We are proud of the commitment of our church family to support the ELCA World Hunger Appeal. Weekly, our members make donations that are sent to the Hunger Appeal to help fight hunger globally.
