How It All Began
It all started with a hope for the future and determination to keep the life of ministry at Holy Trinity ever growing and ever changing. Taking the ELCA's "blue book", With One Voice, in hand and searching out a crew of volunteer and staff musicians, the original band was formed. Using mostly materials from WOV, and a few old camp tunes, a new contemporary worship service began on Saturday evenings.
Today the Contemporary Service on Saturday evenings is filled with an active combination of members and visitors of all ages and backgrounds. We are using a new liturgy that was written by The Rev. Patrick W.Poole (pastor of Holy Trinity from 2000-2008). We use songs from a variety of sources, including new music written just for our worship. This service truly reflects the people of our community of faith and will continue to do so as we grow and change in the years to come.
